Editing
Drums are carefully edited for precise timing, with unwanted noise removed. I also work with VST drums when needed. Vocals are cleaned and polished — sibilance, breath noise, clicks, pops, and unwanted artifacts are removed, and any pitch issues are corrected while preserving a natural sound. Guitars and bass are edited for tight timing and consistent performance, correcting picking inconsistencies while maintaining natural dynamics. Pianos and acoustic guitars can be edited note by note to ensure perfectly tuned and balanced chords. Ambient noise, microphone bleed, and background artifacts are eliminated before the mixing stage to guarantee a clean and professional foundation.
Mixing
All tracks are processed through analog API and Neve-style preamp circuits to add warmth, depth, and character. From there, a selection of eight analog compressors and high-end digital plugins is carefully applied according to the needs of each song. To preserve maximum audio quality, all signals are routed through premium cables and converted using high-end Apogee A/D conversion, ensuring clarity, punch, and sonic integrity throughout the entire mixing process.
Mastering
Dedicated analog mastering aim to achieve warmth, depth, and musical cohesion that meet modern industry standards without sacrificing clarity or dynamics. Each track is carefully referenced against professional releases to ensure balanced frequencies and competitive loudness. The final result is powerful and dynamic, while fully respecting the artistic choices made during the mixing stage. Masters are delivered in high-quality WAV and AIFF formats, ready for streaming, distribution, or physical printing.
